Amelia & Robert's Wedding our wedding-engagement

Hints about dress, parking & dining..

Dress and the weather

Wolfeboro July weather is notouriously unpredictable. Mostly, it will be very very hot and very humid. Remember, the ceremony and reception will be on grass. Ladies, comfortable and appropriate heels are advised. There will be a dance floor and band howverer.

It could rain. Buckets, and buckets, in fact, all day long. We have a large tent for shade and cover from rain. We suggest packing some rain gear like an umbrella and a shawl to keep warm if rain happens. Again think of shoe wear for an outdoor wedding.

We are hoping for a mild summer night so we can all enjoy a moderate evening.

Good news- there are no bugs in July.

We shall be watching the weather closely.

Why July!! A summer wedding is preferable to a frozen ice cube day in January. My sons are at University in Australia. We have a two week window in July for the event.

Bathrooms

We have two indoor bathrooms, one off the kitchen and one upstairs for the ladies. We will have a good old outback outhouse for the men and women as needed. Guaranteed no Redback Spiders.

Parking

This is over kill. There is too much parking. Anywhere along the first 100-300 yards of Clark Road will be absolutely fine. There is also an amount of parking behind the Museum.

Dining

We have chosen an appertizer meal. There will be cheeses, shrimp and beverages as you arrive.

Melanie and staff will serve a variety of tasty hot and cold appertizers.

There is then a buffet of help yourself to all kinds of food delights.

There is no assigned seating but there are enough tables for all to sit.

Enjoy a relaxed cafe style eating and mixing.

You will not go hungry but if you are a big big eater, have a decent lunch.
